Recipes are like guidelines to me. I’m constantly changing measurements and ingredients to my taste and liking. I prefer to “eye-ball” everything when I can.
Baked recipes like pastries and cakes usually need exact measurements. That’s when you’re dealing with yeast, baking powder, baking soda, and flour—ingredients that can lead to a bad science experiment in your oven. So please take my recipes very lightly. Just remember to taste as you go.
